Mark, it is just a matter of time before you are discovered for the talent you have and you end up making a lot more money than all of us combined. The TR game is true genius.

The other day I looked at one of my coat hangers and I saw the sticker “Chess King” on it. I still have a Chess King coat hanger. It has followed me through all these years. I don’t think any stories of trips to Annapolis mall have shown up yet so let me recall what little I remember. There were two trips. During the first trip, there were not enough seats so I, disregarding all common sense, gallantly volunteered to sit in the trunk for the hour and a half drive to the mall. I think it was Steve’s car because I remember him being upset when he discovered I had rewired the blinkers and brake lights to alleviate my boredom.

Why the mall? Boredom has been the common motif in these blurbs. I could only afford to shop at Chess King once a year where I usually bought a jacket and a tie. On this particular trip, it was an occasion to meet girls, and I met two. I don’t remember anything about them except that Vic labeled them, “Fric and Frac, the wonder pups.”

On the ride back, Leo....he is in far too many of my post...rode in the back. About half way back, Roman had a very concerned look on his face. “Fire. I smell Fire.” Steve hit the brakes and swerved off the road. Leo tried to deny whatever he was doing in the trunk but we knew, we knew it was him.

The second trip was me, Roman, little Kristy (Was that her name?), and Matt Boswell. We took Kristi’s open air jeep and the experience can only be compared to a Jack London novel. Freezing rain, hail. We did get our picture with the Easter Bunny, so I guess it was worth it.

On a side note. I went out drinking with Kristy Tincher (Was that her name?) in Cannery Row in Monterey, CA where she was working as a Nanny (This was 1993) She had just completed college (Which she said was psycadelic) and her sister had just finished Navy boot camp for the Navy Reserves. Kristy Tincher, where are you now?
